Multi-year Strategic Plan Development

Client Profile
A health care agency charged with service provision to a county of several million residents was in need of strategic plan to ensure effective service delivery and comply with state funding requirements.

Challenge/Situation
Agency managers and staff needed assistance gathering data to inform their initiatives and developing a multi-year countywide strategic plan, including an evaluation strategy for measuring the impact of their own locally funded programs. Managers and staff also were seeking consultation relative to: staffing and prioritizing their initiatives, developing measurable goals and objectives, and identifying quantifiable indicators for benchmarking their success over time.

Services Provided

strategic planning process

using a step-by-step approach based on a data-driven assessment of existing needs and resources, followed by a series of structured meetings designed to determine priorities and intended outcomes. In addition to writing the strategic plan, EVALCORP developed a corresponding evaluation strategy to track progress toward the accomplishment of the agency’s goals.
