EVALCORP was asked to share its expertise for an article reporting on the success of the social host ordinance in underage drinking prevention in Ventura County.
The Ventura County Star also used EVALCORP research for an article regarding an underage binge-drinking awareness event.
EVALCORP was interviewed on NPR as part of a DUI summit aimed at reducing impaired driving.
Award Winning Research
In 2012, EVALCORP's research for Ventura County Behavioral Health Alcohol and Drug Programs was recognized for exemplary efforts to advance community alcohol and drug prevention work through high-quality local research and dedication to the highest standards of research and evaluation services for the entire Division and for collaborative efforts with the Driving Under the Influence Program through survey research, data collection, and analysis. In 2009, EVALCORP was honored by Ventura County Behavioral Health with the Pillars of Prevention Award for outstanding research, program evaluation, and data related services in support of community-based prevention.
